Rosemary Oil- The rosemary bush belongs to the mint family which includes basil, lavender, myrtle, and sage. Regular use of rosemary oil helps in stimulating hair follicles; it is also believed that rosemary oil slows down premature hair loss and greying of hair. Rosemary essential oil is also beneficial for dry and flaky scalps. Regular massage of scalp with rosemary oil nourishes the scalp and removes dandruff. Further, it is often mixed with tea tree oil and basil oil to treat scalp problems.
Lavender Oil- Extracts from the lavender plant is a very powerful natural remedy; its benefits range from disinfecting the scalp and skin to enhancing blood circulation and relieving stress and tension.
Egg Yolk- Egg yolks are naturally rich in vitamin A, D, E and the B vitamins, which are all beneficial for improving the appearance of hair. B vitamins are particularly important in maintaining healthy hair, and vitamins A and E are key vitamins necessary to prevent hair loss.
Jojoba Oil- Jojoba oil allows the flow of sebum in clogged pores. This promotes a healthy scalp and hair by replicating the sebum oil secreted by human sebaceous glands. The oil conditions your hair and prevents it from being brittle and dull. If there is too much sebum found on the scalp, Jojoba oil can dissolve and take out the sebum, allowing the hair to be cleansed.
Hazelnut Oil- Hazelnut oil is one of the best base oils for homemade creams, oils and lotions because of its lightness and resistance to spoilage. It is a fast-penetrating, extremely light and high in vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids, which nourish the skin and hair.
